Our local community are invited to help shape the future of our region by sharing their insights and experiences to enhance our community wellbeing. Drop-in sessions and workshops across the region will offer residents an opportunity to contribute to and shape the Gladstone Social Plan. By participating, residents will help provide a united voice to identify and align local priorities and assist our region’s diverse stakeholders contribute to the things that matter most to our community.

Community Information and Feedback Sessions will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am and will showcase current efforts to improve wellbeing and invite participants to identify gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities within the community.
The Gladstone Social Plan is a collective effort to help foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility. This initiative highlights the power of community engagement, illustrating how collective input can lead to impactful, sustainable changes.
For those interested in participating in a more structured way, afternoon workshops will offer a chance to brainstorm local needs and solutions with others. Anyone is welcome to attend these sessions, which are particularly suited to service clubs and organisations working with community. As the Gladstone Social Plan evolves, the insights and feedback gathered will be pivotal in guiding future wellbeing improvement projects and investments into our region. Community participation will ensure that the needs of our community are visible enabling all of us to create a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Regular updates will be shared through the GRT website, social media and future community engagements, ensuring everyone remains connected and informed about the outcomes of these sessions and the progress of the Gladstone Social Plan.
The sessions will also invite participants to design their ideal community consultation approach to inform the way that our community is consulted and consults.
