Gladstone Region engaging in action Together acknowledges the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang Bunda peoples as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, work and learn. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and would like to extend this respect to all other First Nations peoples. We recognise First Nations peoples’ knowledge and continuing connection to land, place, and waters. Our community’s vision is to achieve opportunity, equity, and quality of life for everyone.Together, with every voice, we can create a better future.
Voice of Our Children
What surrounds us shapes us.
Gladstone Region Community Art Project
What surrounds our children in the early years shapes their development and resilience to thrive in life.
The views and expertise that only children can bring, about the things that affect and matter to them are as important as those shared by grown-ups who support and make decisions that impact on opportunity, equity and quality of life for everyone.

Our community is committed to ensuring our children's voices are heard, valued, respected and acted upon.
Children, with their parent's and carer's, will participate in playful, inclusive art led by local artist Melissa Peacock from A Country Arts Practice.

Tiny Gallery
Alongside the art project launch at Together in Action, a public art installation will begin to take shape, inviting the community to take home a piece of our children’s creativity and help share their voices across the region.
A purpose-built tiny gallery, created by the Gladstone Men's Shed, provides children from across the Gladstone Region with a dedicated space to showcase their artwork.
In addition, you can explore our children's artwork right here. The tiny gallery collection will continue to grow as new creations are added throughout the project.
