Gladstone Region Community Leaders are invited to join the Gladstone Region engaging in action Together (GRT) volunteer Leadership Group.
GRT is a community-led, place-based initiative, improving community wellbeing in the Gladstone Region. The Leadership Group provide strategic guidance, to the community-led work.
The Leadership Group are seeking to expand its current membership of community members, inviting applications from community with interest in increasing representation of the demographic and geographic diversity of the Gladstone Region.
Leadership Group members provide guidance at monthly Leadership Group meetings and planning days and collaborate with the GRT Support Team (Backbone Team) and Community Working Groups.
Participation involves approximately 4-5 hours per month, with a maximum term of 3 years.
Individuals with the ability to develop trust, work as a team, attend regular meetings and workshops, share skills, and contribute to the key activities and tasks of the Leadership Group are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be willing to reflect on personal or professional bias, be open to accept and create change through innovation for systemic change and collaborate with and value the voice of the community.

Leadership Group members follow a set of principles related to equality and fairness and recognise our individual freedoms to make choices about our lives and develop our potential as human beings. Key values of dignity, fairness, equity, respect, and independence are demonstrated in meetings, within the community, and in all interactions.
If you are interested in applying for a Leadership Group role, please submit a cover letter detailing why you are interested, how your skills and experience will meet the position responsibilities, and the abilities and attributes you bring that will contribute to the Leadership Group.
