Gladstone Region engaging in action Together (GRT) is a Stronger People, Stronger Places initiative based on a Collective Impact Model.

Collective Impact is a collaborative approach to addressing complex social issues, and includes these 5 Key Elements:

Open communication

to foster genuine collaboration through building trust and relationships

A shared agenda

to collectively define the problem and create a clear direction to solve it

A shared action plan

for mutually reinforced activities that maximise the end result

A shared measurement framework

to track progress in the same way, which allows for continuous improvement

A backbone team

with the skills and resources to keep everyone on track

Collective Impact brings people together, in a structured way, to achieve social change.
